At Hemmer Construction Company, we’re proud to celebrate Women in Construction Week 2024 by honoring the honoring the remarkable women who are making strides in this traditionally male-dominated field. Throughout the week, we have showcased the achievements and talents of our female staff, highlighting their invaluable contributions to our projects and the industry as a whole.
One of the highlights of our Women in Construction Week celebrations was a panel discussion held at Aiken High School, where our very own project manager, Madison Beiting, participated along with many talented women in the construction industry from Enerfab, Lithko Contracting, and TriVersity Construction. The event aimed to inspire and empower young women to consider careers in the STEM field. These talented women shared their journey in the construction industry, emphasizing the importance of passion, perseverance, and breaking barriers.

Throughout the week, Paul Hemmer Company took the opportunity to shine a spotlight on the talents and accomplishments of our female team members. From project managers and engineers to administrators and service technicians. Our women play an integral role in every aspect of our operation. We highlighted their achievements through internal recognitions such as flowers, gift baskets, and treats in the break rooms.
