- Dermody Properties selected Paul Hemmer Company for an 898,560 sq. ft. distribution center to house Wayfair Inc.’s logistics facility at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). Wayfair is one of the world’s largest online destinations for home furnishings and décor. The building, which encompasses more than 20 acres under roof, is located on the grounds of CVG. Due to its proximity to runways and FAA regulations, the building had to be constructed within stringent height restrictions, which required close cooperation between the design team that included ATA Beilharz Architects, and Viox and Viox. The facility includes 45,000 active storage locations capable of holding approximately 250,000 cartons.
