Paul Hemmer Company is proud to celebrate the appointment of Matt Curtin as President of the Building Industry Association of Northern Kentucky (BIA). Curtin was sworn in as the new president in a December 5, 2023, ceremony, succeeding Chris Cook of Beaumont Building Group.
Curtin, a Sr. Business Development Manager with Paul Hemmer Company, brings a proven track record of success to his new role and will bring fresh perspectives and innovative strategies to the BIA. His commitment to excellence and passion for advancing the interests of the construction division aligns perfectly with the association’s mission to promote and enhance the visibility of the construction industry. Curtin stated, “I am honored and excited to serve as the President of the Building Industry Association of Northern Kentucky.”
The Building Industry Association of Northern Kentucky has grown to become one of the nation’s largest chapters of the National Association of Home Builders. The organization’s jurisdiction covers 12 counties including Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Mason, Pendleton, Fleming, Robertson, and Owen. The association membership represents approximately 10,000 persons employed in the construction industry.
Curtin’s focus in 2024 is to build on the organization’s Stewardship, Advocacy, Workforce Development, and Membership. “My personal priority will be to gain membership in the commercial and industrial sector, with a focus on commercial subcontractors, general contractors, developers, and community leaders in this segment.” Curtin said.
