The Ingram Micro Tenant Improvement project for VanTrust at Gateway 600 focused on enhancing both the warehouse and office spaces, aligning with Ingram Micro’s operational needs. The project included site modifications, additional dock positions, a full interior office build-out, and comprehensive warehouse air conditioning. Key design elements drew on a previous build-out in Indianapolis, providing a well-established reference for the office space layout and functionality.
Scope of Work:
- Warehouse Climate Control: Installation of new rack-based air conditioning units and additional heating to maintain optimal temperature levels.
- Dock Expansion: Addition of eighteen dock positions on the west wall, complete with bug screens and truck restraints.
- Electrical and Data Provisions: Includes the relocation of the north electrical service, power accommodations for two building generators, power for 20 battery chargers, exhaust fans, and provisions for a data center with raised floors and designated cooling units.
- Fire and Safety Systems: Full building fire alarm installation, eyewash stations, and emergency facilities for safety compliance.
