All of us at Paul Hemmer Company and Building Management Partners want to thank you for the opportunity to work together in 2020. It certainly is a year none of us will forget. Despite the challenges, we have continued to invest in our future. We upgraded our construction document platform, added business development staff, added HVAC-R services, and consolidated our corporate services. We are better positioned to serve our customers than ever before.
One of the unique differentiators of HEMMER is our knowledge of the “circle of life” of commercial buildings. This knowledge comes from the experiences that we have gained over the years.
Construction, our legacy business, was founded by my grandfather in 1921. In a few weeks, we will begin celebrating our 100th Anniversary. In 1960, we started constructing buildings by the Design-Build method. We would guarantee the cost and delivery date, removing the risk from the owner. This is still our primary offering to our construction customers.
Around the same time, we became active in real estate, initially as land developers and eventually as building owners. It started with the acquisition of the remaining 350 acres of the Northern Kentucky Industrial Park in Florence, KY. Since then we have acquired more than 3,750 acres for business and industrial parks and specific project developments. Over the years we developed more than 150 buildings for investment including distribution, manufacturing, office, medical offices, and retail. We even experimented on a few residential projects.
In 2000 we established our building service division, today they provide daily, monthly, scheduled and on-call maintenance, building assessments, capital improvements, and remodeling projects. We take care of museums, factories, warehouses, offices, and medical offices. We take the hassle out of owning a building. Our customers find true value in this service.
As 2020 comes to an end we want to take this opportunity to thank you for allowing us to be Your Building Partner.
Best Regards, Paul Paul W Hemmer Jr |
