INDEPENDENCE, Ky. (October 5, 2015) ? Paul Hemmer Company (Hemmer) will soon break ground on a 674,000 sq. ft. distribution facility for VanTrust Real Estate LLC at 536 Mt. Zion Road in Independence, Ky.
The new facility, to be called Park 536, is a speculative development being built to meet strong market demand for distribution and warehouse space in Northern Kentucky. The Hemmer team will use precast concrete construction during the building process which will expedite the construction timeline, particularly on the building’s envelope.
Construction will begin in October and is expected to be completed by July 2016. This is Paul Hemmer Company’s second construction project with Kansas City-based VanTrust, which has a regional office in Columbus, Ohio. Hemmer recently completed a 226,800 sq. ft. speculative distribution facility for VanTrust in Grove City, Ohio, and was contracted by VanTrust to build out a tenant finish in that facility.
Columbus-based RED Architecture is coordinating all project design/architecture for Park 536. John Gartner and Norm Khoury with Colliers International represent VanTrust in marketing and leasing the building.
