The 276,000-square-foot facility in Greenfield, Ind., will be the first U.S. production facility for BeijingWest Industries, Co. Ltd. (BWI), a premier chassis supplier that designs and manufactures brake and suspension systems for the global automotive market.
Hemmer was selected in part due to its expertise in building new facilities to meet the technical demands of today’s advanced manufacturing. Hemmer recently built a state-of- the-art manufacturing facility in Ohio for UGN, a provider of acoustical technologies for the automotive industry.
